How I Would Use My Superpower to Create a Better Future

If I had a superpower, I would choose supersonic speed—the ability to move faster than sound. I don’t want this power to feel like something from a movie. To me, it would be very simple: being able to show up when people really need help. So many problems in the world happen because help comes too late, and I think speed could change that.

The first thing I would use my power for is helping people during disasters. When I see news about earthquakes, floods, or fires, I always think about how terrifying those moments must be. People are scared, confused, and waiting for someone to save them. If I had supersonic speed, I could be there in seconds. I could pull people out of danger, carry children to safety, and get injured people to hospitals before it’s too late. I imagine the relief in their eyes, and that feeling alone would mean everything to me.

I would also try to help with hunger and poverty. It honestly hurts to know that some people throw away food while others go to bed hungry. That doesn’t feel right. With my speed, I could bring food, clean water, and medicine to places that need them most. But I wouldn’t want to stop there. I would help rebuild schools, hospitals, and homes, because people deserve more than just survival—they deserve a chance at a good life.Another thing I care deeply about is safety. Crime and violence destroy families and communities. If I could move faster than sound, I could stop dangerous situations before anyone gets hurt. I don’t want to punish people; I want to protect others and prevent pain. On a bigger level, I would try to stop wars before they begin. I truly believe many conflicts continue because no one steps in at the right moment.I also worry about our planet. Climate change feels overwhelming, but I think small actions done quickly can matter. I could help clean polluted areas, support environmental projects, and work with scientists around the world. Protecting Earth means protecting everyone’s future.

Most importantly, I want people to feel hope. I don’t want to be seen as a superhero, but as a reminder that kindness still exists. Even with supersonic speed, I couldn’t fix everything, but I could try—and sometimes trying is what matters most.If I had this superpower, I would use it to help, to care, and to make the world a little better, one fast step at a time.
