If I Could Travel To The Past

If I could travel to the past, I would go to the time when Atatürk lived.
I would love to wake up on the morning he said “The Republic is here!” and see him standing proudly at the microphone. I would shout, “Long live the Republic!” and give him a big hug.

I always see Atatürk with children in pictures. He looks so kind and strong. I feel very proud of him. I wish I could talk to him and thank him for giving us this beautiful country.

If I were there, I would join the Republic celebrations, wave my flag, and sing happy songs with everyone. It would be a day full of joy and hope!
