Is Playing with Genetics an Ethical Border Violation or a Natural Progression?

In my opinion, playing with human genetics is both an ethical border violation and a natural progression. First of all, the level of development of a living thing is pretty interesting; you can’t even compare a mouse with a human because the human race has evolved so much that they don’t even see themselves as animals. For example, put yourself in a perspective of a butterfly; you can’t think, search, or even be curious of something, the only think you can ever think of is being in danger or not. This is a different level of intelligence difference. Because of this extreme intelligence, humans are slowly figuring out how nature works and what will and won’t happen. As back to the point, humans are starting to decode how our brains and genetics function, and in this way, humans have gradually been able to understand how to change genetics between two animals or change the genetic traits of an animal. In my opinion this question has a simple answer, for humans this is not the best foundation ever so it is a natural progression for humanity. But for other animals this is clearly an ethical border violation.
