Is reading or writing more effective for expressing oneself? I think writing is more effective because we can’t fully express what we want just by reading. However, if there is a sentence in a book that perfectly conveys our thoughts, then reading could also help. Still, I prefer writing. I wouldn’t want to spend time searching for the exact sentence that expresses my thoughts.
Imagine you don’t have a tongue and can’t talk. You go to the supermarket alone to buy snacks, fruits, and some juice. When you reach the cashier, they ask, “What did you buy?” Would you prefer to write it down on a piece of paper or buy an entire book and try to find a sentence that lists your purchases?
As I said at the beginning, I prefer writing. I once saw a video from my friend about a man who had all his teeth pulled out. Because of that, he couldn’t speak well, so he chose to communicate by writing. I’ve never seen anyone try to express themselves by reading, but I have seen people communicate through writing.
