I was in front of my dad’s painting room. I always wanted to enter there. My dad wasn’t at home so I should seize the opportunity. My hand went to the door handle. I slowly opened the door. The sun was setting. My eyes wandered around the paintings. I was surprised because there were only cat paintings. I wandered around for a few minutes. I couldn’t take my eyes off from the paintings. After a while, my eyes found that one painting. A kitten world! With fluffy balls! As I kept looking at the painting, I felt like i was drowning in the painting.
I looked around. Big, colorful mountains; fluffly kittens. Some of the kittens were the size of the mountains; some of them were the size of my hand. I took a lot of them to my arms, embracing them. I kissed the kittens and I put them down. Kittens were making cute “mew”s and trying to eat my hair and arms. I hopped in the wonderland and started wandering around. I run with some kittens and cats. I played with them. Then I saw a giant cat. I held my breath and shouted, “KİTTYYY! COME HEREEE!”. Kitty walked to me. Then she ran. I was starting to scare. but hopefully, she stopped before crushing me. I caressed her as she sat down. She started purring. After a while. I settled down on her back. I patted her back to say we can move on. The kitty started running. I watched the perfect wiev passing by. Pink clouds, blue-orange sky, colorful mountains and cats with different sizes. A peaceful smile settled on my face.
I slowly came out in my daydream. What I saw was just a dream or I was really in the painting? I asked myself this question. But I wasn’t worrying much about that actually. I felt peaceful. Then my dad came in.
“O- oh… Hi… I was just wandering around and taking inspiration for my paintings.” I stuttered. Looking him with innocent puppy eyes.
My dad sighed “It’s okay munchking. But i could show my sketchs or paintings anytime you want. You didn’t touch anything right?”
“Yup! No accident happened.” i said cheerfully. My dad ruffled my hair and sighed again
“Let’s just get out.” he said. I nodded and I waddled behind him. Following him as we got out.
Kitten World!
