Living On Mars

In this journal, I will tell you about the one week I will spend on Mars.

Monday
Like every normal day, I start by brushing my teeth. After that, I eat my specially packaged breakfast and begin my daily work. Since the gravity is low, I need to stabilize myself while exercising. Then, I have to eat my lunch. Now comes the most fun part—I put on my astronaut suit and go chat with my alien friends. Even though I don’t know their names yet, we have a lot of fun. Then, I invite them to my space station, and we play games together. In the evening,  I get into bed and fall asleep.

Tuesday
Again, I start the day by brushing my teeth. Then, I have my breakfast and begin my lessons. The teachers here are very strict. Schools here are open on weekends, and the weeks are only four days long—Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  I eat my lunch. Since I am very tired, I decide to take a nap.

Wednesday
I have my breakfast. Then, I prepare my school bag and walk to school. Today, we studied the elements of Mars in class. When I returned to the space station, I started playing with my Mars dog. His name is Marsık. Today, I’m taking Marsık to the Mars vet. It’s time for his Mars vaccine. When we got home, Marsık was very sad because the Mars vets had hurt him. Then, I heard a knock on my door. When I opened it, I saw my alien friends. They came to say goodbye to me. They were going to Jupiter to visit their grandmother. After saying goodbye, I jumped into bed.

Thursday
Since today is the last day of the week, I need to go to bed early. So right after breakfast, I fell asleep.
