Local Environmental Projects

Introduction
Our local community have been dealing with challenging environmental issues. For this some of the projects have been developed to solve these problems. This report aims to highlight the environmental problems and how effective these initiatives are.
Environmental Issues
Firstly, our local area is one of the most frequented areas in the city. Because of this the greenhouse emission from cars is a lot. In addition because of the area being crowded the air pollution occurs by the vehicles. Many people are complaining about this problem. Another major problem is the pollution in the sea near our local area. Many locals are complainant about the plastics and wastes in sea nearby. It makes a lot harder for marine life to continuous. It restricts the living area for livings. Furthermore, the local people can’t swim in the sea because of this problem.
Initiatives
Because of the complaints from people authorities planned to take action about these issues. So they developed some projects. One of them is to encourage people to use public transport and bicycle. This will reduce the air pollution and emission of greenhouse gases will be less. For the same issue authorities made an initiative about planting trees. They planned to grow a tree per person. They planted 20 trees until now. For the pollution in sea the people who are in charge worked on some projects as well. One of them is that raising awareness about protecting marine life and while doing it the sea will be cleaned.
Conclusion
There are some good projects that have been developed recently. Encouraging people for using public transport and bicycle would be a good initiative. The reason behind that is it would reduce the number of cars which would produce harmful gases. Planting trees would be a good option for reducing pollution because tress absorbs the carbon dioxide and give out oxygen. For the protection of marine life they developed a project about raising awareness about marine life. It would be the best option for preventing sea creatures from this kind of pollution since people don’t know about marine life a lot. So this will help sea to be remained clean.
