As you know, new medicines are tested on animals before people. Some people think this is a good thing, and some people don’t. I am not completely sure about it. Actually, some parts of it are good. Thanks to this system, people do not die or get sick from new medicines. But other parts of it are very bad and cruel. A lot of animals die or get sick because of these tests, and this is just as sad as the death of a human.
So, what is my idea about it? My idea is finding volunteers. If we find volunteers, we can test medicines on them instead of animals. If we do this, we can save both animals and humans from death and sickness. I think this is very logical. People who want to be volunteers can join, and we can test the medicines on them. This way, both people and animals can live healthily.
You may ask, “What will happen if people don’t want to volunteer?” If this really happens, then we might have to test medicines on animals. But with millions of people in the world, I don’t think this situation will happen.
Long story short, I think testing medicines on animals is not very nice.
