I was playing in the park and didn’t realize how late it had become. Once I noticed it was night, I decided to go home. I fell asleep in my bed, and when the sun began to shine, I knew it was morning. I woke up and started making breakfast, but something felt abnormal.
While I was walking through my house, the doorbell rang. It was a postman delivering a letter. When I opened it, the letter said: “Hi Katty, I love you, sunshine. Where are you?” Confused, I wrote a reply to my mom saying: “Mom, I am here. I am at home.”
When I stepped outside to send it, I was shocked to find that I was in the middle of the Milky Way! I had no idea how I got there. I looked around desperately for a way to leave, but I couldn’t find anything. I decided to build a plane, which took an entire year to finish. When I finally completed it, I was thrilled to find that it actually worked!
I packed my clothes and flew back to Earth. Having lived in the Milky Way for two years, I had almost forgotten what Earth looked like. I searched everywhere but couldn’t find my home or my mom. Suddenly, I heard my mom say, “Good morning!” I opened my eyes and realized it was all a dream. I was so happy to be home.
