One day, when I woke up, I saw my dad’s and mom’s thoughts. Not just theirs—I could also read my friends’ minds, and even my cat’s! My dad was thinking about being rich, and so was my mom. My cat was thinking about meat. My friend was thinking about playing with me at school. My teacher was thinking about their lessons.
And then there were my thoughts. I think you should try writing like this. Not only that, but this power was unbelievable! So, I decided to get a refund from God—but He wasn’t there. I went to heaven and started searching for Him.
First, I reached the gates of heaven. I passed them by reading the gatekeeper’s mind. Then came the trials to speak to God. The first one was jumping—I somehow jumped the highest, though I didn’t know how. The second was archery. I wasn’t worried because I remembered that I used to take archery lessons. I hit the bullseye!
The next challenge was running. The angels cheated in this one—oh yeah, did I mention that I was up against angels? They were using their wings for extra speed, so I used a dead angel’s wings and won. Finally, I got rid of my power, went back to Earth, and slept.
