Every country has some main ways of gaining money with different economic activities. Agriculture and mining are two very effective ones. So, the question is: Should we improve the mining facilities or agricultural facilities in Turkey? Well, both are open fields in Turkey, ready for being improved. First, agriculture can be done easily in Turkey, because our country has 3 completely different climates. Also, in warm places like Antalya, greenhouses are a cost effective way of gaining money. Turkey fortunately has large fields and watering opportunities. Many agricultural products like wheat, barley, apples, mangoes, melons and olives can grow and be harvested well in different parts of Turkey.
On the other hand, mining opportunities are also endless in Turkey. Our country has more than 3 quarters of all the ores in the world and has the most amount of boron deposits in the world. Although mining is more dangerous than agriculture, it can make you millions of dollars every month when done correctly. The best improvement on mining would most probably be replacing humans with machines. In different parts of Turkey, maybe hundreds of undiscovered layers of ores lie underground. Exploring, mining and selling these would make a great profit.
In conclusion, I believe that both of the aspects are great for making the citizens’ life easier and creating job opportunities for them. Both can be improved with artificial intelligence, machinery and many more ways. By this way, we can ensure a sustainable future for next generations.
