My Best Day

One day, my three friends and I went to a basketball match. We were very excited, but our coach didn’t show up. The match started, but we didn’t have a coach. Using our own tactics, we finished the first half behind, with a score of 45–43.

In the second half, one of our friends got injured, and we had no substitute players. We continued the match with just four players. The score was 78–78 going into the last period, and we were very stressed because if we won this match, we would become the champions.

With 10 seconds left, the score was 99–97 and we were still behind—but then I made a three-pointer with just one second left on the clock. We became champions, and we were overjoyed!

At the end of the match, I was chosen as the most valuable player of the final. I was so happy—and we had a water fight with my teammates in the locker room to celebrate!
