My dream of getting a new computer came true three months ago, and I was so happy when I found out it would arrive in two days. I told myself that I was going to celebrate with my friends. When the computer arrived, I invited some of my friends over to help set it up. We set it up in an hour and played games on it since they had brought their laptops with them.
I decided it was a good time to tell my friends about a surprise party I was planning in a few days to celebrate how perfectly the computer was working and to share its details. The computer’s features were magnificent, and my friends loved them. In fact, they were so impressed that they decided to throw a surprise party for me without telling me or my parents.
The computer working so perfectly meant a lot to me because it had been my dream for a long time. When it finally came true, it almost felt unreal—like a dream. I told my parents how grateful I was for everything, and they said, “You are the best child.”
