My Truth

When I was born, I found myself lying on a giant desert. The wind mixed with the sand and created a huge sandstorm. A man grabbed me faster than the storm, and I fell asleep. After that day, I woke up in a pyramid, and many people were praying to me. I didn’t know what was happening, but I was happy. Throughout my life, I lived like royalty. Other Egyptians couldn’t get water, food, or anything they needed, but I could have anything with just one shout.

I didn’t like this, so at the age of 13, I wanted to explore and see if there were any lakes nearby. First, I announced that I was leaving the palace, so I chose a temporary king for a week. The guards didn’t like this, so two guards came with me for protection. During our journey, I learned that there was no water except for the small lake in our town. The guards told me that I was special because of a birthmark that looked like a cat.

After a week of exploring, we found a lake. One of my guards, Will, was bitten by a poisonous snake. Rest in peace, Will 🙁

After that, I returned to the town and explored a secret pyramid that only I could enter. Three years later, I finally sneaked inside and found the story of my life. I learned that I had been born during a natural disaster—a sandstorm—and that I didn’t know my real family. My true parents were very poor. They raised me secretly because they knew I was special, but one day the kings discovered me and took me away.

So, I decided to find my real parents. I thought it would be difficult, but I forgot—I was special. I found them easily. Their names were Nancy and Jonathan. When I met them, they were happy to see me. When I told them, “I am your child,” they were overwhelmed with joy, and so was I.

After finding the lake, we moved our town closer to it, built farms, and started a new life. My parents said, “We are happy we raised you,” and we hugged.
