My friend and I were on our way to a store that sold enchanting dresses. Enthusiastically, we entered and started looking for fashionable dresses for the prom we were invited to. While we were admiring the dresses, we saw two in the style of the 1700s. Even though we didn’t think we would buy them, we wanted to try them on.
We went into the fitting rooms and tried the dresses. When I put mine on and stepped out to show my friend, the place I entered was not a store anymore but a magnificent room in a palace. I was shocked and confused. After a few seconds, my friend also appeared. With relief, I calmed down because I wasn’t alone.
We decided to understand where we were, so we went downstairs. Soon, we found out that we were right in the middle of a prom. Everyone was wearing dresses from the 1700s. At first, we thought it was just a theme party. However, after we looked more carefully, we realized that we were actually in the 1700s.
We were in enormous shock when two gentlemen came and invited us to dance. We both looked at each other and decided to accept since we had nothing better to do. While we were dancing, a girl appeared at the top of the stairs, staring at us. She called us silently, so we sneaked out of the dancing area and went to her. She told us that if we wanted to go back, we had to change our dresses and return to the room where we first appeared.
As a result, my friend and I changed our gowns and returned to the room. We felt as if nothing had happened, but when we opened the door, we were back in the store. We quickly left, still confused and frightened. Anyway, the mystery of those dresses and whatever happened remains unsolved.
