We all know about Teachers’ Day. It is a nice day when we say “thank you” to our teachers. But is one day in a year really enough?I don’t think like this way.
Like my friend said, teachers work very hard and they deserve more appreciation. They don’t just teach us from books. They help us with our problems, they prepare many lessons, and they check our homework every day. This is a lot of work!
Another friend had a great idea: “Every day should be teachers’ day not once a year” I understand this feeling. We shouldn’t wait for one special day to show we are thankful. But we don’t need to give a gift every day. A simple “thank you” after a lesson, or to listen carefully in class, these small things can make a teacher happy.
In my opinion, our school can also do more. Maybe we can have a “Thank a Teacher” week every few months. Students can write small notes or make a nice poster. It is important that teachers feel valued not only by students but also by the school.Teachers help us to build our future. They give us so much. Let’s show them that we see their hard work all year long, not just on one day.
