Should we hide historical places to keep them safe, or should we show them to people?
Let’s look at the advantages and disadvantages of allowing public access!
I think it’s good because a lot of tourists visit historical places and take photos. We also gain a lot of money from tourism, which positively affects our country’s wealth. Plus, if a site is really special, it might even be added to UNESCO’s list of protected sites, attracting even more visitors!
However, there are downsides as well. Tourists who visit historical places might leave trash behind and make the site dirty, ruining the experience for others. They could also leave negative reviews about the poor maintenance, making our country look bad in the eyes of others. If a site is listed by UNESCO but is not well maintained, it could even be removed from the list.
So, I think historical places should be open for limited hours, such as four to five hours a day, or only two to three times a week.
