Scientists had warned people that if they continued to use a lot of fossil fuels, they would face problems like this. However, people ignored these warnings as predicted. They acted as if they didn’t know about the consequences of using non-renewable energy sources.
After a year, people couldn’t find enough food because of the continuing acid rain. The soil was no longer as productive and useful as it used to be. Not many tourists came anymore because most historical sites were destroyed by the acid. The country was in a really bad state. Everyone was sad and regretted not listening to the scientists and putting a stop to this issue. But it didn’t change anything because time had passed, and you can’t go back in time.
