Reading Mines

One day, when I woke up, I felt so… different.
It was like a new life was starting!

At first, I didn’t understand it. But when I looked at my mom’s face, I suddenly heard a voice in my head.
It was saying: “I made her favorite vegetable omelette!”

When I went downstairs, it was there — my omelette!
And then I realized… I could read minds!

At first, I was shocked but also very excited.
After that, I promised myself to use my power for good things only.

In the car, everyone was thinking something.
My dad was thinking, “I hope there won’t be traffic today.”
My mom was thinking, “Did I turn off the oven?”
And my little brother was just singing a song in his head about his favorite cartoon.

I couldn’t stop laughing quietly! It was so funny to hear what everyone was thinking.

When we arrived at school, I could also hear my friends’ thoughts.
Some of them were nervous about the exam, and some were thinking about playing football at break time.

That day, I learned something important:
It’s not always easy to know what people think — sometimes it’s better to just listen and understand them.

But still… it was the coolest day ever!
