Report: School Facilities

It has been brought to our attention that students love some facilities the school offers but finds some to be in desperate need for improvement, therefore we looked over said facilities and this is the report.

The Gym:

The school gym, found in the basement, is decent in size and has top-notch ventilation systems, however the motivating quotes on the walls are starting to peel off, leaving the quotes not understandable therefore useless. After a quick interview with students who regularly use the gym, we also found out that some of the equipment, such as the punching bag, were not usable because they weren’t stable enough, risking the student’s safety.

The Cafeteria:

Nobody likes cafeteria food but when you only have chicken offered and are a vegetarian, that tends to be an issue. Even if you are a meat eater, uncooked meat surely isn’t the most sterile food option out there. Many students using the dormitories complain saying they can barely eat the food offered. This can easily be improved by changing the food companies, or the school could offer gastronomy students in local universities a part time job.

The Library:

While the school library is a fantastic source if you are looking for lesson books or one of the books your teacher will assign you to read and grade you on it through an exam, when it comes to anything else, it is pretty lacking. There aren’t many novel or history book options, and there is fifteen to twenty copies of each book that is available, but that doesn’t solve the variety issue. Some students stated they love libraries because they can see new kinds of content, but that the school library doesn’t offer any of that. A campaign could be held for students to donate any extra books they have to the school library, and a reward could be set for the class donating the most books to create motivation and a competitive environment.

Overall, the school offers a couple options when it comes to where to go in lunch break to hang out with your friends. Some improvements, such as holding a book collection campaign for the library or fixing the quotes in the gym, would make a huge difference.
