REVIEW: TRIP TO MUSEUM OF THE REPUBLIC
Have you ever been to a museum which made you feel like you are in the 1920s, witnessing the birth of a new nation? Our school’s recent trip to the Museum of the Republic answered this question and many more, offering an unforgettable insight of learning our culture and history.
We had the wonderful opportunity to learn about challenges and milestones in the establishment of a new country. One of the highlights was seeing personal belongings and clothes of our great leader, Atatürk. The staff were also knowledgeable and answered all questions clearly.
However, you should be prepared to wait if you want check out the general assembly hall as it tends to get quite crowded. You should also be careful about managing your time, otherwise you will not have the time to have a look at each exhibition hall.
Overall, the Museum of the Republic is a perfect place for everyone who is curious about the foundation of Republic of Türkiye. If you are interested, you should pay a visit!
