Social Media

Can we help people who really need help using social media? Actually, yes, we can give many examples of this, such as blood donations, aid to earthquake victims, and many other things. We know that we recently faced a fire disaster. People mostly got help from social media to make their voices heard. Although it is not a direct example for blood donation at the moment, we can mention the Red Crescent. If I have to give an example from myself, I see people asking for help the most for organ donation. People with more than a thousand followers usually make announcements on social media for such things to be heard. I think that is how the most help is provided. During earthquake disasters, social media was usually the place where people could ask for help. Even websites opened for aid money were shared on social media, and participation was increased. Although it is talked about how useless and bad social media is in some issues, it is really helpful in such issues, and it is better because it makes it easier to be heard.
