Annie was an astrologist. She always looked at the stars at night, inspecting them and drawing their shapes in a notebook. However, this night was different from all the others. The stars had switched places, as if they were part of a jigsaw puzzle. Annie decided to take a closer look and climbed a small cliff near the sky. She peered through her telescope and noticed something strange: the stars didn’t even look like stars anymore. They seemed to form shapes… Was it a ghost? No. Spirits? Yes, that was it.
She saw one of the stars moving closer to her. Wait, did she accidentally switch the lenses on her telescope? No… everything seemed fine. The closer the star moved, the clearer its shape became. It looked like a carbon copy of herself! Except this version was shining.
“Hey, who are you—?” Annie asked. The other Annie didn’t respond. Instead, it took her hand and started to float in the air with her!
They soared above beautiful pearl-colored palaces of silver and gold, exquisite forests with flowers of every color, and, most fascinating of all, a shimmering lake with vibrant, colorful fish. When the other Annie brought her back to the cliff from before, Annie felt… relaxed, happy, and calm.
This would be a memory she would never forget—a captivating and incredible adventure. She continued to draw stars, but now she drew stars that resembled the people she loved.
