Hello, my name is Nil. Today I want to talk about why medicines are tested on animals.
Testing medicines on animals is a very bad thing that humans do. The main reason is that laws do not allow new medicines to be tested directly on people. Some adults say this is a reason, but I don’t agree. Animals are living beings too. They have feelings, and they can feel pain just like we do.
Some people still continue this harmful practice and do not care about animals at all. Try to imagine this: close your eyes and think you are an animal in a lab. Many animals die because of these tests. It is heartbreaking and very wrong. Don’t you think so too?
I once watched a movie about this, and it was terrible. They hurt animals to make humans safe, but that is not fair. They even test make-up products on animals. Why? Just because they cannot test them on humans. This is still not a good reason.
There are better solutions. For example, people could test things on plants that are already dying. Or engineers could make robot models that act like humans, so we can test medicines in a safer way. Humans are smart, so we can find kinder ideas.
In this paragraph, I wanted to explain that hurting animals and testing medicines on them is wrong and should stop.
