Time is the most valuable and limited resource in our lives. The idea of stopping time or travelling to a different time period is something many people dream about. However, if I had to choose between these two options, I would prefer to travel to either the past or the future.
The idea of stopping time seems beautiful, as it allows us to live a joyful moment forever. For example, a moment spent with loved ones, a minute celebrating a great success, or a turning point in our lives… Yet, stopping time would disrupt the natural flow of life. It would prevent us from moving forward and experiencing the beauty waiting for us in the future. On the other hand, travelling to a different time period is far more intriguing. Going to the past to witness historical turning points, learn from mistakes, and reunite with loved ones would be deeply meaningful. Similarly, travelling to the future to see what the world will look like, witness new technologies, and observe groundbreaking discoveries would be exciting. If I go back to the past, I will go to the dinosaur age or the Kurtuluş Savaşı.If I were to go to the future, I would like to go to the time when we lived on a new planet or to the time when Besiktas won the Champions League.
In conclusion, instead of trying to change time, we should aim to make the best use of it. While the idea of interfering with time may be appealing, learning from the past and looking to the future with hope is what truly makes life meaningful.
