One cold day, I woke up with a strange and strong headache. I couldn’t understand the reason why I had it. I rested yesterday… how strange, I thought. Then I remembered to get dressed and have my breakfast.
My parents dropped me off at school. I was having a good day until I couldn’t resist the headache anymore. I walked up to my teacher and politely asked, “Ms., may I go to the nurse? I have a terrible headache.” She accepted, so I went to the nurse and told her what happened. She called my parents, and they came to pick me up.
When we got home, I wanted to rest, but my parents asked me what happened. I told them everything in a sleepy mood. My dad said, “Come on, don’t exaggerate,” while laughing. I didn’t get frustrated because I knew my dad would say something like that. Thinking about resting, I jumped on the sofa and started lying down.
Without noticing, I fell asleep. I woke up to a strange noise. I ran to the window, and when I looked outside, I saw a huge storm. The storm was coming straight toward me. I got scared and didn’t know what to do. I ran to a chair and tried to protect myself. When I opened my eyes, everything was gone. I looked around and saw nothing. Then, a lot of people came in.
I wanted to cry and tell myself that all this was just a dream—but it wasn’t. Then, a voice whispered, “If I were you, I would be careful.” At that moment, I thought I was losing my mind. There were many doors around me. I tried to open one, but then more and more doors started to appear. Suddenly, I got sleepy again and fell asleep on the floor.
When I woke up, everything was normal again. I jumped and cried out of happiness. My parents didn’t understand me at all because they didn’t know anything! “What a strange dream,” I thought.
But little did I know… maybe it wasn’t a dream!
