Street of Memories

It is a street lined with street lamps that light up as darkness falls, featuring diverse yet beautiful buildings, restaurants, cafés, and trees that cleanse the polluted air. While one building looks simple yet stylish, another appears warm and inviting despite its slight messiness. Laughter echoes from one, while shouts emerge from another. It can be said that different emotions coexist here.

Though some experiences inside these buildings may seem similar from the outside, each one is unique and special. The street itself is somewhat chaotic yet maintains a sense of order. While some people I would rather never see again stand in certain corners, the ones I love most and care about occupy the most beautiful spots in the city, offering breathtaking views. They can often be found in the buildings where my best memories reside.

The weather shifts—sometimes sunny, sometimes cloudy, sometimes rainy, and sometimes snowy. If it’s both cloudy and sunny, it feels peaceful; if it’s rainy, it brings exhaustion; if it’s snowy, it sparks happiness and excitement. Each weather change represents a different emotion. As you continue walking forward on this street, you may notice that one side remains empty.

That space is reserved for the memories I will create in the future—moments tied to graduation, success, career, entertainment, marriage, parenthood, friendship, and family. Some will be joyful, others sorrowful. Some will be stressful, while others will be exhilarating. Like everyone else, I do not know what the future holds. But I am certain of one thing: I will not regret these memories. Every mistake I make will be a lesson, a part of my journey, standing alongside my achievements on this street.

I live. And every memory I create will shape who I am, representing me.
