Technology has changed many things in our lives and business is no exception. While some people think that technology affects business only positively some think that it causes more problems than it solves. Even if technology isnt perfect and causes some issues I still think it has more positive sides than negative.
One of the big positive sides of technology is that it makes working easier. Things like labor and aquireing information now take minutes instead of hours. For example with online shopping people can buy stuff without even leaving their homes and businesses can sell to customers all over the world.
Another plus of technology is that it saves businesses money. For example instead of hiring for labor business owners could buy machinery that does the labor free for them just for the cost of the machinery and energy that gets consumed by it. It also reduces errors that occur because machines dont get tired like humans do.
But of course there are down sides too. One big issue is that a lot of people might lose their jobs because machines are taking over. Because of new machinery there is less need for labor so less factory workers. That means people will lose their jobs, homelessness gets higher and inequality occurs.
In the end even though technology has its risks, I think it’s mostly a good thing for businesses. It helps them grow, save time and money, and reach more people. But I do think that we should find some balance and shouldnt forget the people behind this all.
