In some academic schools, sports aren’t counted as an important lesson. That schools only think of academic and make students stressed. However, sports help students in physical and mental ways, which is sometimes aren’t seen by parents.

Sports play a crucial role in young people’s physical development, helping for health and fitness. Regular sports activities help muscle and bone strength, cardiovascular (hearth and vessels) health and coordination- motor skills. It makes students have an active lifestyle, which is important for a healthy weight and preventing chronic illness, such as obesity, diabetes, and heart disease.

Sports also play a significant role in the mental growth of young people; it supports emotional well-being. Endorphins, released due to physical activity, helps reduce stress, anxiety and symptoms of depression. Sports make the student disciplined and focused, skills that are used in both sport and academical life. It also boosts self-confidence, which is gained by personal and team successes. It also teaches students victory and defeat in a healthy way.

Sports also make student understand teamwork and leadership. This helps to gain qualified communication skills with empathy and respect. These are important in educational or sports life, future workplaces and relationships. Students also socialize by sports competitions.

In conclusion, sports are essential for healthy growth of young people. It helps improving physically and mentally. It reduces stress, builds confidence and teaches discipline while preventing diseases. However, sports aren’t getting enough attention by schools and parents who only think about academical life of students. On the contrary, students should be encouraged to do sports so that they can grow up healthier.
