That morning, I was so happy because it was my birthday. It was one of the best days for me. I cleaned my room and washed my face. Then I went to the living room and asked if we could go outside together. My mom said I should do my homework today. But I had already finished my homework and solved five tests. Then she said, “Okay, but at 4 p.m.” It was only 9 o’clock.
We ate breakfast together, and I started to think they had forgotten my birthday. I felt sad. I went to the garden and played with my friends. But they hadn’t forgotten my birthday—they gave me some presents! I was so happy and excited.
When I came home, it was 11 o’clock. I read books for one hour. We ate lunch together, and then I took a little nap. When I opened my eyes, I couldn’t believe it—my cousins were there, celebrating my birthday. I didn’t even think about going out anymore. It was the best day ever.
