A Disaster?

Imagine waking up one morning and realizing that everyone on Earth suddenly speaks the same language. No translators, no subtitles—just words understood by everyone. At first, the world would feel quieter, almost surprised by its own unity. Then, everything would begin to change.

Communication would become easier than ever. International education would move faster because people could understand each other directly. Students could study anywhere without language differences. Students from different countries could communicate better and share ideas more easily.

Miscommunication might decrease. When people truly understand each other’s words, empathy can grow. Social media would become easier to use, allowing friendships across countries to increase.

However, something would be lost. Languages carry culture, history, and identity. If everyone spoke the same language, unique expressions and traditions might slowly disappear.

In the end, the world would be more connected, but we would need to work harder to protect our culture.
