That morning I woke up before my alarm, but something felt strange. The coldness of the bed, the silence of the room… Everything seemed normal, yet nothing felt normal at all. I slowly sat up, and when I opened my eyes, I couldn’t believe what I saw. My room was no longer my room. The walls were glowing with a soft purple light, and a cluster of stars was spinning on the ceiling.
When I took a step, the carpet rippled like a wave, as if it were alive. I turned toward the door, but there was no door anymore. Instead, a bright portal made of thin, shining lines hovered there. I reached my hand out, and the portal widened instantly.
Outside, tiny flying creatures greeted me. Their wings were transparent, and their voices were as soft as a breeze. One of them touched my hand and said, “Don’t be afraid, this is the gateway to the Land of Echoing Dreams.”
My heart pounded, but not from fear—more from a strange feeling, as if something inside me already knew this place.
