The House Of History Rome

Today, we will go and explore the historic city, Rome! Let’s start with the most popular place in Rome, the Colosseum.

The Colosseum is the largest ancient theatre ever built and one of the most iconic symbols of Rome. It was completed in 80 A.D. during the reign of Emperor Titus. It once held over 50,000 spectators who gathered to watch the battles and wild animal hunts. Despite centuries of earthquakes and stone looting, the Colosseum remains remarkably well.

The 2th place is S.T. Peter’s Basilica.

St. Peter’s Basilica is a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture and the centre of the Catholic world. Climb to the top of the dome and look at St. Peter’s Square, then you can see one of the most beautiful views in Rome.

The 3th place is the Spanish Steps.

The Spanish Steps, a good meeting point and photo spot, connect the elegant Piazza di Spagna with the Trinità dei Monti church above. They look beautiful in every season and create a postcard-like view. You can take a break by climbing the steps and enjoy the views over Rome’s historic rooftops.

The last stop is Castel Sant’Angelo.

Originally built as the tomb of Emperor Hadrian, Castel Sant’Angelo was later converted into a fortress and prison. Today, it offers beautiful exhibitions and has one of the best rooftop views in the city.

Yes, there are a lot more places in Rome, but I think it is enough.
