These days many people trust the broadcasted news media because it looks professional and has been a daily routine of many people. They invite “experts” in specific fields to seem as more professional. They show stories as facts. The truth is that this news does not show the full picture behind these so called “stories”. They actually control the reality to their likings to benefit from it.
This TV news is shown to be about journalism but it’s mostly a business. Big news channels are owned by very wealthy individuals, corporations, or investment groups. Now when a certain group of people have the authority and money to buy media companies, they gain power to what is shown as reality and what is ignored. They can shape news into a weapon, protecting their own interests.
This influence is not hard to notice, anyone with the right mind can understand what’s going on. Some stories are repeated over and over again while some disappear quickly or are even never mentioned. Even the repeated ones are shaped in a way that the news owner group benefits from it.
These groups that buy out the media also have bias against their own “kind”. Even when there aren’t enough money others that see this bias will rise them up so that they have more “allies” against other competitors.
Journalists that want to speak the truth can not do anything with the insignificant amount of power that they have. At the end they are not the ones controlling who owns the media they work for this may result them into being private journalists that will encourage them to be more biased since they don’t have regulations to themselves.
Tv news can help people catch on with daily life. However certain people amongst this world wants to make others believe false information that they themselves shaped and by other factors of our world people believe these false information. All of this is just wrong and is not ethical in any way, the media owners know this very well but just don’t care
