The Role of Technology in Modern Education

Yesterday, I considered the effects of technology on progress in education. This report aims to evaluate these changes, their benefits and drawbacks, and how they can be solved.

First, while technology improves over time, its usage also goes far. We can learn information in seconds, so it won’t be time-consuming to remember if we’ve forgotten something we need to know. Most of my classmates have mentioned that being able to research things in class makes them learn clearly. The other thing is people can take notes on their devices, generally their tablets or laptops. Since our technological devices are more portable than notebooks, all people around me find it easier to take notes on devices.

Although using technology is beneficial, it has some cons. One of them is that people might not focus on their primary work about education while using technology. Some of my friends have complained about it; they wanted to do something that entertains them on their devices. The other is that we do not all have the same conditions, so some people can’t afford to buy a device.

In conclusion, if we use technology in our education in favor of us, it can be a life-maker. However, for distractions, schools may restrict some sites or apps to prevent us from looking up those sites so we are less distracted. And for people who can’t afford it, schools can give them a device for each student to make them equal.
