Hi! I’m Ada and I’m going to tell you what happened on the weekend.
On Saturday morning, I was at home cleaning my room, and my mum was downstairs cooking breakfast for us. But suddenly, I heard a strange noise outside my window. I looked outside, but I couldn’t see anything, so I kept cleaning my room.
Then my mum said, “Breakfast is ready!” so I went to the kitchen. After eating my mum’s breakfast, I went back upstairs to my room. When I was in my room, I heard the noise again, and I was very scared.
I thought it was just a joke, but it couldn’t be, right? Actually, I thought it was April Fool’s Day — but it wasn’t! I was getting terrified. I thought it could be a ghost or some scary legend!
If I couldn’t see the thing that made the strange noise, how was I supposed to know what it was?
So I went downstairs to look for my mum. But she wasn’t in the kitchen or her room. I went outside to look for her — and suddenly, my mum popped out and shouted, “April Fools!”
I was very shocked! I said, “How can it be April 2nd?”
And she said, “I told Siri to change the date just to trick you!”
I was a little scared, but I was also happy — because it wasn’t a ghost or a legend!
