Tourism is really important income factor for many countries. Especially our country which has several different historical and cultural places needs tourism to grow. Government policies are key stone of the tourism so it needs to be supportive to get tourists. But with the new tourists, wouldnt our cultural heritage broken down?
As I said our country is getting all of its money from farming and tourism. But the policies are making farmers getting in trouble so without tourism our money will definitely melt. Moreover Tourists are bringing foreign currency to the country and helping the economy without them our stock of foreign currency is gone. But it shouldnt mean that our cultur must be gone. Turks have really long history and their culture never been lost so after so many years it shouldnt be lost too. So the government needs to support tourism with protecting our culture.
It is just a bad idea to block tourists for just protect the cultural heritage. We can just do tourism without losing our culture. And it is a really amazing thing that bringing more different cultures from all over the world means more tourists and more tourists means that more money. With that money we can develop our country easily. Moreover, we can show our culture to foreigners and they can carry our to their own country. With this way we spread our culture instead lose it. If government decide that we dont need tourists, we need to protect our cultur. We will be doomed. Tourists arent just a source to the money also they are fun of local people. Just imagine you are going to an hotel and you want to go away your daily life stress. When you are there what would you want to see? Different peoples who has different faces, styles… Or seing same faces which are frowning. I am absolutely sure that you will choose the first option so they are just on positive side not negative side.
Briefly tourism is the lifeblood of our country like many other touristic countries. Our historical and cultural places arent just standing there for us, it is for everyone in this world. Just we need to use it. Dont be silly and say we need to protect our cultur. İt isnt that easy to affect our people at changing their cultur. I am sure that our economy and life style will develop with tourists.
