Trends

One of the new dietary trends that has recently gained popularity on social media is intermittent fasting. Each year, medical science uncovers new insights about human health, and intermittent fasting is one of these emerging topics. While future research may refute some of these claims and suggest that intermittent fasting could be harmful, for now, it is believed that consuming less food and allowing the body to undergo fasting periods can be beneficial.

I tend to agree with this idea. When the body is deprived of food for a certain time, it may trigger natural healing processes. However, we must also consider whether intermittent fasting is suitable and beneficial for everyone. Not every practice fits all individuals, as each person’s body is unique. Therefore, intermittent fasting might not be appropriate for everyone and could potentially cause side effects.

Until such practices are thoroughly researched and scientifically validated for all, we should avoid accepting them as absolute truths.
