Last weekend, my friends and I from class went to a museum about the foundation of Republic of Türkiye. It was very exciting day for us.
The first thing I like was the big statue of Atatürk at the entrance. It was very real and powerful. Also, there was old newspapers and letters from the war time, which was very interesting to see.
But there were some bad sides too. The museum did not have enough chairs for sitting, so we get tired quickly. And some rooms were too dark, so it was hard to read the information.
Even these problems, I think the museum is good place for learning the history of our country. We take a lot of photos and talk about what we saw when we come back to school. I want to go there again with my family.
