As we all know, holidays are supposed to be fun and loads of free time for yourself, but that doesn’t mean you cannot do things that will be effective for your future. Such as my friends signing up for a musical.
I wasn’t expecting much from a high school musical, but it proved me wrong. We were working for hours on the weekends, rehearsing it over and over again till we couldn’t even make a mistake. We wanted it to be perfect, even though we were all tired and exhausted. Also, we had to study even harder since our grades were falling because we spent our free time working on the musical rather than studying.
But on the other side of the coin, it was a great way to socialize and gain new friends. I made friendships that I hope will last a lifetime. I also overcame my fear of talking in front of big crowds, and now I am into all that kind of stuff.
I would recommend you try out activities like that if you are interested in any of the positive things I told you about, and maybe even just to step out of your comfort zone and feel what it is.
