I think digital addiction has become a big problem nowadays. Most people, especially kids like us, spend too much time on phones, tablets, and computers. Playing games, surfing social media, or watching videos can take up so much time that we start ignoring our homework, friends, and family. This can negatively affect both us and the people around us.
To address this, some precautions should be taken. First of all, families should set rules about how long kids can use digital devices. For example, using the internet for only 1–2 hours a day is enough. This way, we won’t spend too much time in front of a screen, and we will have time for studying, reading books, or playing outside.
Schools should also educate us about this issue. We need to learn about the harms of digital addiction so we can understand why we should be careful. Additionally, teachers should only use digital tools in class when absolutely necessary, as using them too much can distract us.
Lastly, we kids should learn to control ourselves. Instead of grabbing our phones every time we’re bored, we can try different hobbies. Doing art, playing sports, or exploring music can be fun and also help us stay away from addiction.
In short, we don’t have to stop using digital devices completely, but we should learn to use them in a balanced way. This is really important for our health and our future.
