Where Am I?

After a long, tiring Friday! I said good night to my parents and went to bed. I immediately fell asleep. This is all I can remember about the night that changed my life. When I woke up, the first thing I noticed was a weird creaking sound. I thought that it was my baby parrot Pia, so I didn’t open my eyes open my eyes. After a few minutes, I felt a breeze on my face… “Did I forget to close the window?” I thought. Then I realized that the breeze was not hot, dry breeze I was used to in Ankara; it was a … sea breeze? At this point, I understood something strange was going on. I slowly opened my eyes, and saw something that shocked me: I was not in my bedroom. I was in a very small room that looked just like a cell with a window. There was just one bed and a few piles of dust in the room. Then I noticed door, it was metal, round and heavy just like vault`s door. After I saw that scene, questions started popping out in my mind: Where was I? How did I come here? Was I in a person? I got out of the bed and looked through the window. All I could see was a light blue sea and the sun just chilling above it. After being a bit disappointed because of the bad view of myself or room, I turned back to the door. Fortunately, it was not locked! Unfortunately, it was so heavy. After a few tries, I successfully opened it and took a look at the dark hall I was in. I carefully stepped out of my room and saw other rooms just like mine. I started to walk, trying to make no sound. As I walked through the corridor, I saw different rooms, some with bigger doors, some with weird noises and some with signs on their doors alerting danger. After an hour of walking straight, I saw some giant beetles with uniforms that Guardians wear. I used all my willpower not to scream, and just when I started to walk backwards, one of them noticed me. It suddenly started flying just like a helicopter towards me, throwing bombs after it. I run as fast as I could, in the hope of finding an open room that I can get into escape. The bomber beetle was getting significantly close to me, and the corridor was going to end. I came to the dead end, but there was still one door at the end. I opened it with my last bit of power and it was not locked! after closing the heavy metal door, I heard the beetle crashing onto the door. I sighed and thought: “Whoo! I’m alive!” I turned my head afterwards and I saw my family and friends happily singing below an ornament that says “Happy Birthday!” I woke up after seeing that scene, and I heard the creaking noise again. I felt the sea breeze on my face and thought: “oh shoot, here we go again!” I opened my eyes slowly, but saw something different! My friends and my family here all there to make me a birthday surprise! I hugged all of them one by one and made sure that this story was all a dream by looking through my bedroom`s window: I saw a light blue sea! “What is happening?” I thought, confused.
