If you were to be asked if you would rather be able to stop time or time – travel which one would you choose? My answer is as clear as glass, time – traveling. The reason for that would be because I believe it is more convenient.
Being able to stop time would also be amazing, but I am not convinced it is the better choice. In my opinion time-traveling is more convenient because you could be able to fix past mistake. For example, if you were to talk to a person and say something that you were not supposed to say, that you could go back to before the conversation ever happened and relive the scenario. Doing so could potentially temper with current events because everything happening right now happened as a result of our past actions. So, if we were to change the past actions than the present would also change. This could have a positive effect or a negative one. For example, if you were to do bad on an exam, an important one like university entrance exams, but then after learning the answers go back in time and do better, you would be going to a better university but you would also be taking the place of someone else.
I also believe that time-travelling could be convenient in learning. So, if you were to be learning about dinosaurs, for instance, then going back in time could help you learn more effectively. You would be able to go back in time and examen them from afar, in my opinion would still be better than textbooks.
So, in conclusion, I think having time – stopping powers would be nice. I still firmly believe that time – travelling is highly more convenient than being able to stop time, although it could potentially backfire.
