Why are children today more lonely?

Today, children have many things that people in the past did not have. With technology, we can find information quickly and talk to people who are far away. But even with these good things, many children feel lonelier now.

In the past, children played outside with their friends. They talked, ran, and laughed together. Now, many children spend most of their time on phones or computers. They play games or use social media instead of meeting real friends, and because of this, they do not talk face to face very often.

Also, parents are very busy. They work a lot, and children go to school and many courses. Families do not spend much time together. In the past, people talked during dinner, but now everyone looks at a screen.

I think children today are lucky with technology, but they are not lucky with real friendships. To feel less lonely, we should spend more time with our friends and family, not only with our phones.
