Why Giving Up Meat Isn’t the Answer

Could you honestly call it ‘healthy’ if you have to replace real food with bland imitations? I am strongly opposed to ones that claim becoming a vegetarian protects all the animals while ignoring the reality.

Many vegetarian influencers on social media claim to be healthy, yet they suffer from simply preventable illnesses simply because they don’t get natural nutrients meat provides. What is more concerning is they easily convince children who are scrolling on platform to their believes. Eating only vegetables just weakens the immune system of young people and prevents them from getting enough protein for their growth.

Moreover, giving up meat remains nothing more than a dream in terms of the food industry that relies on meat production and demand. Many people are making money just by working in meat-related industries, and expecting people to quit their jobs to protect the animal life is impossible.

A common opposing belief is the idea that eating meat is cruel, just because some people think it is violent and people should show more sympathy towards animals that don’t even question their own existence. This argument is overly optimistic and ignores the realities of everyday life.

All things considered, we shouldn’t pretend that stopping eating meat will solve all the world’s problems, nor will it bring a realistic outcome for everyone. Furthermore, forcing anyone to care about animals while ignoring their own health should not be considered healthy, and maintaining a balanced and realistic diet is crucial in order to live a healthy life.
