Mascot Illustration of the Earth Wearing a Surgical Mask to Cope with Air Pollution

Our world is going worse day by day and there are a lot of reasons of this. The topic I am going to talk about is wasting. Most of the people buy a lot of things every day.  Some of them are unnecessary. For example, decorations. We can live without them but we buy them just to look good. Shoes are also a really good example. Most of us have a lot of shoes that we don’t wear. Take a look at your wardrobe. Do you have a lot of clothes that you don’t wear?

Most of the objects we use are produced in factories. While these objects are being produced; water, fossil fuels and some other sources are being used. For example, according to World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), 2,700 litres of water are used just for one t-shirt. That makes 13,500 cups of water. Now think about how much water you have in your wardrobe. In addition, fossil fuels used in production cause air pollution and global warming. As we know global warming is a dangerous life-threatening factor on the Earth.

The whole world fell silent. Am I the only one hearing this cry for help? Please think about what we did to Earth and do something about it. Stop wasting. Stop taking what you already have. Let’s think again before shopping.
