The Honest Child

There was a boy named Tim. He was a 10-year-old kid. Tim was an honest person, maybe a little more than other people. One morning, he was feeling sleepy and forgot to do his homework, but since he is an honest person, he couldn’t say that he was ill. That’s why he went to school.

When he arrived at school, he started talking with his friends. But then the teacher came in and asked who didn’t do their homework. Since Tim is an honest person, he raised his hand and said that he couldn’t do his homework. When the teacher asked, ‘Why didn’t you do your homework?’ again, because he is honest, he said, ‘Sorry miss, I forgot it,’ but actually, he wanted to say, ‘I did it but I forgot it at home.’

When he arrived home, his mom made a beautiful pizza. He ate it, but he didn’t like it. When his mom asked, ‘Is it delicious?’ he said, ‘Mom, sorry, I don’t like it.’ Actually, his mom and dad were not angry about these things since they raised this child, so they love the honesty of their son.
